Xiaomi Mi 8 Explorer Edition which was launched with a translucent back and in just one variant of 8GB RAM and 128GB of storage now has shown up on the Chinese certification site TENAA revealing two more storage models of the phone. The listing shows a 4GB and 6GB RAM models of the phone with 64GB and 256GB internal storage options.Xiaomi Mi 8 Explorer Edition is going to be one different phone, at least that’s what it looks from the outside. The phone has a translucent rear that gives us a peek into the innards of the phone. While it is still unclear how much of the internals of the phone can be seen through its semi-transparent back but it certainly makes the phone unique.Futhermore, the phone has appeared with the model number M1807E8S on TENAA. The 8GB RAM 128GB storage variant is expected to be priced at CNY 3799 which is roughly Rs 38,947.09. The specifications of the phone is more or less same as the Mi 8.The phone will sport a 6.12-inches AMOLED display with nearly 18.7:9 aspect ratio. The phone has an in-display fingerprint sensor and a iPhone X-like 3D facial scanner. It is the first Android phone to come with a 3D facial scanner. Apart from this, the other iPhone X-like feature that you get with the Xiaomi Mi 8 Explorer Edition is its own version of Animated emojis.The phone is powered by a Snapdragon 845 processor clocked at the speed of 2.8 GHz and is backed by a 2900mAh battery with support for Quick Charge 4.0.
